Ratings: Glee Soars With Tribute, Wonderland Opens Low, NBC’s New Sitcoms Struggle

Ratings Glee Finn DeadGlees tribute to Finn/the late Cory Monteith was watched by 7.4 million total viewers and netted a 2.8 rating on Thursday.

That marks week-to-week gains of 68 and 75 percent, tying Grey’s Anatomy during the 9 pm hour and marking the Fox series’ best demo number since Sept. 2012.

Opening Fox’s night, The X Factor (6.3 mil/1.9) dipped one tenth week-to-week.

ABC’s Once Upon a Time in Wonderland — which TVLine readers graded a solid “B” — could use some “Eat Me” cake, and fast. Debuting to 5.7 million viewers and a 1.7, it fell shy of Last Resort‘s year-ago launch (8 mil/1.9). ABC’s other recent-ish Thursday lead-off premiere numbers, for comparison:
* Zero Hour: 6.3 mil, 1.4
* Missing: 10.6 mil, 2.1
* Charlie’s Angels: 8.8 mil, 2.1
