Ratings: Elementary Rises, Scandal Dips, Grey’s Ticks Up, Voice Rerun Helps Sean and Michael

Ancient HistoryDespite going to bat against Game 2 of the World Series, CBS’ Elementary saw some week-to-week gains this Thursday.

With 8.7 million total viewers and a 1.8 rating (per finals), the sophomore drama was up in audience and rose 20 percent in the demo.

Opening CBS’ night, Big Bang (16.5 mil/5.2) was flat, The Millers (10.9 mil/2.7) fell 16 percent and The Crazy Ones (8.8 mil/2.3) ticked down a tenth. Two and a Half Men (8.4 mil/2.3), though, rose two tenths.

Fox’s World Series coverage averaged 13.4 mil and a 3.6.

NBC’s scheduling of a Voice rerun largely paid off, averaging 5.2 mil and a 1.3 versus the Parks and Rec/Welcome to the Family combo’s 3.8 mi/1.1. Most notably, the second half hour of The Voice did a 1.5 compared to WTTF’s 0.9.

As such, Sean Saves the World (4 mil/1.1) rose 20 percent in viewers…
